Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter

This year, YVAS not only met but exceeded its fundraising goal of $5,000.00 for scholarships for its Spay & Neuter Clinic held on April 27-28, 2019. YVAS will use the additional proceeds to continue supporting the shelter’s important work, including caring for lost, injured and homeless pets and educating the public about animal welfare.

We just have to give a special shout out to Mona and Tom from Plant Services, Inc.! Not only did they sponsor our event and buy Silent Auction items, but they were also the highest bidders at the Live Auction. We hope you have a great time on your trip to Napa Valley! Thank you for supporting the animals at the shelter.

Relay for Life Golf Tournament

Many thanks to Phillips 66 for hosting the Relay For Life golf tournament at Pryor Creek Golf course. Despite the weather not cooperating with us (Please see the jackets and sweatshirts), we all had a great time for a wonderful cause. It was an honor for Plant Services, Inc to not only help sponsor the event, but also put our own team out on the course!

Our team consisted of myself, Thomas Thayer, Kyle Solheim, Nate Ellestad and we even coaxed Phillips 66 engineer Kim Wall to join our team. She had no idea what she was getting into there! There were few shivers, some cold hands and a few golf clubs launched into the bushes due to wet hands, but we sure had fun and everyone gave it their all that day.

Thanks to all of the PSI family that attended this event and worked the picture booth as well as one of the holes, where they gave out hand warmers, drinks and a few people they even gave a hard time! All in all there were smiles for miles and it was very successful and raised a lot of money for the fight against cancer.

We look forward to the next charity event we can participate in. We simply loving giving our time, energy and golfing skills(smirk) for causes just like this one.
