DANIEL TAEREA

Lead Technician

This Martinez native has been with PSI since 2017 and has definitely made his mark in our industry and is part of a very experienced set of technicians in our Concord office.   

Daniel has over 8 years’ experience in the specialty contracting field, with on-stream leak sealing, portable machining and stud torqueing and tensioning being some of his favorites.  Daniel is also a certified composite installation tech and takes great pride in the jobs that he’s performed.  Daniel has traveled across the country performing installations, and even works regularly at our customer locations in Hawaii.

Daniel love taking his truck out on trails and getting dirty off-roading.  He is also an avid fisherman, who even takes his pole to work, just in case he passes a stream on the way home from work.

We are happy that Daniel is part of our PSI family.  His enthusiasm and love for his trade shows in his attitude and work performance every day.  “Hard workin’ man” is his mantra and he takes pride in a job well done.

 

 

DANNY BOOKOUT

Master Technician

Danny Bookout has been with PSI for almost a year but brings with him 20+ years’ experience in the refinery and gas industry.  Native to northern California, Danny loves California living. Specializing in on-stream leak sealing, Danny also has honed his skills to be very proficient in composite wraps, portable machining and stud torqueing and tensioning. Danny is an avid softball player and plays tournament league games as often as work and free time allow. Danny rounds out our crews in our Concord location. He adds decades of experience to an already well-versed set of technicians in northern California.  Dedicated to his craft, Danny will never let you down when you need him to respond.

MIKE LOVING

Master Technician

Mike Loving is a California PSI original, meaning that he’s one of the first hired in California in 2016, and has helped setup and build our California office.  Originally from Texas, Mike moved his family to the Concord area in 2004. Another very experience Master Tech, Mike joins the others in Concord as boasting a 20+ career in the specialty contracting field.  Mike has mastery of Hot Tapping, Line Stops, On-Stream Leak Sealing, Torquing, Composite Repair and Field Machining.  His specialty is larger hot taps, as well as being extremely proficient at high pressure/high temperature leak sealing repairs. A long-time family man, Mike likes to take his wife and family camping regularly. Mike’s diligence, persistence and “never-die” attitude keep the wheels turning at full speed in Concord.  His focus on completing a job until the customer is completely satisfied takes a back seat to none.  This is why Mike is very popular with his customers.  They say Mike just gets the job done; no muss, no fuss and on time.

RICHARD BURNS

California Territory Office Operations Specialist

Richard is from southern California and moved to northern California in 1996. Richard has almost 30 year in our industry. His is a machinist by trade and started in 1990 field machining in the southern California refineries. Richard has worked turn arounds in power plants and refineries in most of the country. Richard is also very proficient in hot tapping, leak sealing, composite repairs and bolting. Richard’s is the technical operations specialist at the Concord, California office. Richard is a Family man and sends his free time with his grandkids.

STEVIE BURNS

Master Technician

Stevie is a lifelong native of California.  He’s been at PSI since 2018 and has already made an impact on the quality of work in norther California, with his infectious smile and never die attitude. Stevie has 20+ years’ experience in almost every facet of specialty contracting, and is considered a master tech, due to his mastery of each of them. A dedicated family man, Stevie loves bowling in the “Father/Son” bowling league with his son, little Steve.  Married to his wonderful wife, Terri, they enjoy camping, fishing and spending free time with their granddaughter. Stevie adds to the abundance of experience that our Concord office is thankful to have.
